The Cleveland Council of Black Colleges Alumni Association proudly organizes this exceptional event, bringing together graduates and supporters of accredited HBCUs in the Greater Cleveland area. This year’s fair, guided by the theme "They Not Like Us: The HBCU Experience - Where Excellence Has No Equal," continues to attract admissions offices, major sponsors, and national recognition, making it a comprehensive and distinguished experience on multiple levels.

At the fair, high school seniors and college transfer students will have the unique opportunity to complete the Common Black College Application, allowing them to apply to more than 60 HBCUs with just one submission. Many students may even receive on-the-spot acceptances and scholarship offers. Additionally, attendees will engage with vendors and participate in workshops covering a wide range of topics, all designed to empower and inspire them to be proud of who they are, where they come from, and where they want to go.

Educators and Families - Though we value your efforts of wanting to complete the registration process for a scholar, we emphasize the vital need for adults to instill this crucial set of skills in your student(s): the art of navigating online college and career applications. Unfortunately, this essential skill is not consistently incorporated into middle school or high school curricula. However, its impact is undeniable for those fortunate enough to receive such instruction. Whether guiding teenagers, first-time applicants, or newly arrived immigrants, it is imperative for teachers and parents to actively lead their students through the intricacies of online application processes, equipping them with the indispensable tools for success in the pivotal realms of higher education or career pursuits.

What Do I Now?
Middle School or Charter/Private Schools -
